I would be most inclined to hem ragged edges so they don't ravel, making the gloves last longer.

As for looking nice, you've got pink thread on gray fabric. Maybe look for some sort of pink trim or embellishment? But it's tricky to ornament anything made for sensory purposes, so I'd prioritize function.
