got to tell one of my greek mythology fan friends today about olympus mons on mars. i think it's great that the mountain on earth has a "twin" if you will on the planet closest in size and composition.

Oooh, do you have a favourite planet or constellation? I don't know much about astronomy but I love Cassiopeia because I can recognize it easily ^_^

i also love Cassiopeia because the name is so pretty. but no, my favorite constellation is orion because it's easy to see where i live, and my favorite stars are aludra and adhara in canis major because i think they sound like they could be princesses from the kalevala or the shahnameh or something

They all have such cool names! Ha, Orion kind of looks like a coffee machine/moka pot, I need to check out Stellarium to see if it's visible here and in which moment of the year.
