I love Lore's moments of being hopelessly horny about Asher. It's so fun and also I rarely if ever see a woman character in fiction be healthily horny about a guy, either she's submissive in a way that makes her love interest look kind of creepy (being submissive is fine but i don't like when that's a thing in which consent is taken for granted etc etc) or she's made out to be some kind of evil slut either by other people or by her own mind for having wants, or she's so hopelessly virgin she's afraid to be horny unabashedly. Lore's wants just are, she's comfortable in them. It's really nice.
 I'm slowly starting to trust the grimoire, over time. I think I just have an inherent distrust of magical mcguffins which is probably the fault of consuming as much Warehouse 13 as regularly as I do :\

I'm still not wholly sold on Finn as a love interest but I love having an academic research plot in here ft. Finn being a student alchemist, and I love that his grouchy personality so far seems to come from ordinary circumstances (racism, classism, getting dragged into moving across the country by his sister) rather than some Great Tragedy He Needs To Be Coddled Over. Speaking of which I like that Lore rightfully calls him an ass several times including to his face and means it.
